I am an early riser. Around 5.15am in the summer and 6.15am in the winter.
When I tell others I often get asked:
Are you crazy?
Isn't it freezing in the winter?
Why?
Great questions for those who have never experienced the power of early mornings or a magnificent sunrise. If you have not then I challenge you to give it a try.
I love my mornings and I use them to set up my day. Whether I am on holidays or working, the same routine applies.
If I am working it allows me to plan my day for success. Whether the day is an easy one or filled with challenges, the quite time alone and outside helps me to focus. I believe if I plan then I place myself in a stronger position to achieve the outcomes I desire. After trying a number of different approaches this one works the best for me.
When I am on holidays it becomes about exploring the places I am staying. Do you know how much of a city you can explore just by running though it? Especially when it is quiet and there are minimal tourists. I love exploring cities
In the early morning I am rewarded in many and varied ways.
